Frank Naber
is a second degree black belt in Okinawan Shorei Goju Ryu karate. He has been a martial arts instructor specializing in kickboxing, MMA and self-defense for 14 years. He has trained with national championship fighters in kickboxing and winners of local MMA fights.
Frank will be teaching a Kickboxing bag workout on Wed nites at 7pm, he will also be teaching Kid's Karate on Wed nites at 6pm.
Kickboxing bag classes are great for a total body workout, while building kick-butt skills with maximum fitness benefits designed to increase your strength, endurance and flexibility levels.

Maire Dempsey
is a first degree black belt in karate and third degree brown belt in modern arnis. She has been training and teaching martial arts & women's self defense for 3 years.
Maire is a specialist in women's self-defense and will be teaching our Fight Like A Girl women's self defense class on Mon nites at 7:30pm.
Fight Like A Girl addresses how to deal with the most common sexual assault scenarios. This program also teaches techniques that are especially effective for attacks in parking lots, parking garages and other areas where it is imperative that you not be taken to a secondary location where you can be raped and murdered. You will also learn to defend against common street scenarios such as chokes, hits, and grabs, and to escape the dreaded and deadly "blitz" attack from behind as well as how to defend their space and keep an attacker from conducting a successful "interview".

Karen Callahan
is a fourth degree black belt in Modern Arnis. Additionally, Karen holds a second degree black belt in Kyokushin karate, a first degree black belt in Taekwondo and a first degree black belt in Isshinryu karate. and has been teaching martial arts for nearly 20 years.
Karen will be teaching Modern Arnis classes on Tues & Thurs nites at 7:30pm.
Modern Arnis is one of the most effective forms of self defense in the world. Not only are students trained to defend themselves against armed or unarmed encounters, but they are highly skilled at countering their opponents attacks at every angle.

MBD Martial Arts is EXTREMELY proud to announce that MMA Fighters Greg Reddington and Kamil Broda both made a spectacular MMA Debut on SATURDAY DEC 6th at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont! They both easily dominated their opponents in the cage. Keep an eye on these two young men, because they have an exciting MMA future ahead of them. CONGRATULATIONS KAMIL & GREG!!! AWESOME JOB!!

Greg Reddington Victorious Again!!!
MBD Martial Arts proudly announces another spectacular win for MMA Fighter Greg Reddington!!!!
Greg Reddington entered the cage again on MARCH 28th at the DuPage Expo Center in St Charles, IL. He emerged victorious after an exciting 3 round bout. Greg won by unanimous decision with a score of 30-27.
Keep an eye on this promising young warrior. The MMA World has not seen the last of him!!
Kudos to his coach Ben DeLaRosa and special thanks to cornerman (and MMA Fighter) Kamil Broda!

He has been awarded his 1st Degree Black Belt in Pankration sanctioned by HBJJVT & USA Federation of Pankration Athlima (USAFPA). MBD Martial arts will now be offering classes and ranking in the style of PANKRATION
